10 Things You Need to Know Before You Go to AT&T National

Here's our guide to the AT&T National golf tournament held at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square from June 28-July 3.

The AT&T National returns to Newtown Square this week at . For six days starting on Tuesday, thousands will trek to the streets of Newtown Square to catch a glimpse with one of PGA's finest.

Are you attending the tournament? If you are, make sure you check Patch's guide to AT&T National before you head out with what to bring and what to expect. And if you're not attending the tournament, read the parking and road situations during this week.

  1. St. David's Road between North Newtown Street Road/Route 252 and Mill View Road will be closed to traffic starting from Monday, June 27, to Sunday, July 3, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Newtown police suggest using alternate roads like Church Lane to get to your destination. Police will be on site to detour traffic.
  2. There is no general public parking on St. Davids Road, Sawmill Road and all other adjacent streets during the AT&T National. Parking in the immediate vicinity of Aronimink Golf Club is by permit only. Posted "no street parking" areas will be strictly enforced.
  3. A limited number of reserved tournament RED LOT parking passes are available for purchase by clicking here. The RED LOT is located at Delaware County Community College, only three miles from Aronimink Golf Club. Shuttle service to Aronimink Golf Club is included in the price of parking. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes.
  4. A limited number of reserved tournament BLUE LOT parking passes are available for purchase by clicking here. The BLUE LOT is located at Villanova University, only three miles from Aronimink Golf Club. Shuttle service is included in the price of parking. Shuttles run approximately every 15 minutes.
  5. Free general admission parking is available at the WHITE LOT, located at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks and is 8 miles from Aronimink Golf Club. Shuttle service to Aronimink Golf Club is included in the price of admission. Shuttles run approximately every 20 minutes.
  6. Will Call is only located in the Main Spectator Entrance at Aronimink. Please park in one of the tournament parking lots and ride a complimentary shuttle bus to the Main Spectator Entrance, where you may visit Will Call. Will Call operates on the following schedule: Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  7. Cameras are allowed on Tuesday and Wednesday ONLY. Please note: Only point-and-shoot style cameras are allowed. Professional-looking cameras and equipment (long-range lenses, tripods, etc.) will NOT be allowed.
  8. Autograph policy: During the official competitive rounds (Thursday-Sunday), players will not sign autographs until they have completed their rounds. Autograph areas adjacent to No. 9 and No. 18 scoring areas will be designated. Players have the option to use this area.
  9. Here are a few items NOT permitted at the tournament: radios (XM portable radios are allowed), TVs, signs or banners; coolers or beverage; alcoholic beverages; large camera-carrying cases, chair carry bags, backpacks, packages and other carry items larger than a small purse (this includes diaper/baby bags); firearms or weapons of any kind; folding arm chairs or lawn chairs; ladders; or periscopes.
