The funding for this was allocated years ago. There is no such thing as "shovel ready",Read More but people bought into that nonsense. I wish they would finish the job on Rt. 29 at the new turnpike exit. It's a joint project by PennDOT and the Turnpike - they opened the interchange and left the improvements to Rt. 29 unfinished. Coming off the turnpike onto Rt. 29 north requires three lanes to squeeze down to one lane. At rush hour, there is nearly an accident every few minutes. Ridiculous. They should have finished the job.
