Students Make Deans List at Scranton

West Chester students are leading the way at Scranton.

The University of Scranton has announced it's Dean's List, which recognizes students for academic excellence during the 2013 fall semester. 

A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List. The list includes students from the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, the Kania School of Management, the Panuska College of Professional Studies and the College of Graduate and Continuing Education. 

More than 1,380 students were named to the 2013 fall semester Dean's List, including the following area residents.

  • Heather Funk of West Chester is a sophomore with a nursing major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies

  • Erin Holman of West Chester is a senior with a nursing major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies

  • Jessica Lyman of West Chester is a senior with a psychology major in Scranton's College of Arts and Sciences

  • Kaleigh Lynch of West Chester is a senior with a occupational therapy major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies

  • Kelsy McAnelly of West Chester is a senior with a political science major in Scranton's College of Arts and Sciences

  • Laura McGarry of West Chester is a sophomore with a nursing major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies

  • Lindsay McLaughlin of West Chester is a junior with a community health education major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies

  • Colleen McMahon of West Chester is a senior with a exercise science major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies

  • Brittany Moyer of West Chester is a sophomore with a accounting major in Scranton's Kania School of Management

  • Edward Westlake of West Chester is a sophomore with a criminal justice major in Scranton's College of Arts and Sciences
