East Students Write Commercial for Sipala Kia

West Chester East Students write a commercial for the Downingtown car dealer.

The following is a press release from the West Chester Area School District.

Eighty-five students enrolled in Carol Lill's East High School marketing classes competed in teams to create television and radio commercial scripts for Jim Sipala Kia of Downingtown.

The competition was created by Jim Sipala Kia and Balance Group Marketing after Jim Sipala was invited to speak to marketing students at East in the Fall. Sipala and his marketing team were so impressed with the level of interest generated by the students, that they wanted to create a real-life marking challenge to enable the students to put their skills to use.

The winning team, comprised of sophomores Kyle Block, Sean Dougherty, Dave Drennan, and Danny Fisher, have been invited to participate in the actual script revision process and filming of the commercial with Balance Group Marketing. At the completion of the filming, they will be treated to dinner with Jim Sipala and Balance Group Marketing representatives. The commercial is expected to air on television and radio during the month of June.
