West Chester Launches Mobile App for Reporting Problems
See something like a pothole, broken sidewalk, graffiti, or potential fire hazard? Now there's a West Chester app for that.
The Borough of West Chester has a new app that will allow residents to report problems like a broken sidewalk, potholes, graffiti, piled up trash, broken curbs and public safety issues from a smart phone.
West Chester Connect's mission is simple: Connect citizens to government services faster and more efficiently. The new service is spelled out in the a users guide released by the Borough:
The mission of “West Chester Connect” is to provide enhanced communication between our community and our staff. Work Orders that are reported through “West Chester Connect” shall be handled in the same professional manner as service requests made by telephone, walk-in or email.
Work Orders shall be completed in a timely and professional manner at all times. It should be understood that anyone can access any work order filed through “West Chester Connect”.
Citizens who submit work orders have the ability to receive “push notifications” on their mobile device as the work order is processed.
Work Orders completed through “West Chester Connect” are a public record and shall be handled in the most efficient manner possible.

The app is free for anyone who would like to download it.
Once you locate the app in your store simply download the app and it will appear on your smart phone with the borough seal as the icon and the title, “West Chester Connect”.
