Report: Romney to Visit Chester County

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will visit Chester County Tuesday night.

According to the Daily Local, Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney will make a visit to Chester County as he gets ready to faceoff against former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum on his home turf.

The Daily Local reports:

The reception begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Mendenhall Inn on Route 52 in Kennett Township. Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts, is expected to arrive around 7:45 to address members of the committee, according to committee officials. Republican U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey will also address the crowd beginning at about 7:15 p.m. Toomey has been scheduled for weeks as the keynote speaker for the event.

“We are excited to have Gov. Romney in Chester County,” Committee Chairman Val DiGiorgio told the Daily Local. “He is the front-runner in the race and the likely nominee. I think this is a testament to how important Chester County is for the success of the eventual nominee.”
