A Look at the Borough Council Committees' Tuesday Agendas

Borough Council Committees will meet Tuesday evening.

The will hold its monthly committee meetings on Tuesday night.  Here are some quick hits from each committee agenda.

Public Safety Committee, Tuesday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m.

The committee will once again discuss hiring a security firm to help patrol the southwestern quadrant of town on weekend night's to help with quality of life issues due to university students.  West Chester University gave the borough $10,000 for a pilot program to test such a patrol's effectiveness.

Finance Committee, Tuesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Not a whole lot on this agenda, pension fund performance will be discussed as well as authorization to fill the upcoming vacancy in the position of wastewater director.

Planning Zoning and Industrial Development Committee, Tuesday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Two things jump out: first, the committee will discuss conditional use criteria to be used for the proposed HO-60 (60 foot) Height Limit Zone.  Second, the committee will discuss a possible zoning revision to allow Residential Use on the ground floor in some areas of the TC (Town Center) zoning district.
