West Chester Police Blotter: 51 Arrests Made from Oct. 17-23

All suspects innocent until proven guilty.

Public Drunkenness: arrested Christopher Pantle, 20, Glen Mills, on October 22 after police allegedly observed him in possession of an open container while operating a car at the intersection of South Matlack Street and East Nields Street.  Police allege that Pantle also provided false identification when he was stopped.  Besides an open container violation, Pantle is also being charged with providing false identification, underage possession and public drunkenness.

DUI: Police arrested Glenmoore resident John Thompson on October 25 at 12:01 a.m. for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.  According to police, officers observed Thompson allegedly travelling westbound on the 500 block of Hannum Avenue.  Police also say that Thompson was allegedly weaving and occasionally drifted into the eastbound lane.  When police pulled Thompson over in the 900 block of Downingtown Pike, he allegedly failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
