Berwyn Fire Company firefighters quickly put out a car fire after a single car crash Saturday morning on Swedesford Road.

According to fire officials the accident happened around 10:30 Saturday morning. No one was injured in the single vehicle crash, but Tredyffrin Township Police took the driver of the car into custody. Details of the arrest were not known as of the time of this posting. Patch will update the story as details become available.

The crash happened at Old Eagle School Road and East Swedesford Road today in Tredyffrin. The fire was brought under control quickly, according to Berwyn Fire Company Assistant Chief Eamon Brazunas.

The video is courtesy of Berwyn Fire Company.  It shows the crew of Engine 2-2 extinguishing the fire. Fire Police had East Swedesford Road between Old Eagle School and the Rt. 202 ramps closed for about 40 minutes.

Editor's Note:  A previous version of the story incorrectly reported there were two arrests in this incident. The driver, the only person in the car, was the only arrest.  Patch regrets the error.
