Police Blotter: Traffic Stop Leads to DUI

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

DUI: On Jan. 11, West Chester police conducted a traffic stop at approximately 1:50 a.m. after a silver Ford Mustang committed a traffic violation.  As a result of the traffic stop, police administered a field sobriety test to 21-year-old West Chester resident Tomasz Kowalski.  Kowalski allegedly failed the sobriety test, and he was taken into custody.

DUI: Police arrested 24-year-old West Chester resident Joseph Flack on Jan. 13.  Police stopped Flack after observing him make several traffic violations.  Flack allegedly failed a battery of field coordination exercises and was taken into custody for an alleged DUI.
