Police Arrest Man Who Allegedly Pulls Fire Alarm

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Criminal Mischief: On Nov. 1, at approximately 1:21 a.m. West Chester police and fire officials reported to 110 East Gay Street for a report of a fire alarm activation.  The cause of the alarm was determined to be a pull station by the front door that was activated than forcefully pulled from the wall.  As a result of an investigation, police took a 51-year-old West Chester resident into custody for tampering with a fire apparatus, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.
