One Arrested in East Goshen Wallet Theft

The following information is provided by the Westtown Police Department.

The Westtown Police department arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of theft after he allegedly stole a wallet from an area home while posing a PECO employee, according to a report from the department.

Police say that a resident of Mary Fran Drive in East Goshen reported that the man entered his home offering to “sell him better electric energy.” After the man left the residence, the victim noticed his wallet was missing and called the police.

Police found the 22-year-old man in the area and determined that he was the man who entered the victim’s apartment. An investigation revealed that the man was wanted by Abington Police for a similar incident of theft and forgery. Police recovered the wallet and the $200 the man allegedly stole out of it.
