Man Who Crashed Through Fence Charged with DUI

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

DUI: On June 15, West Chester police arrested 26-year-old Mexico resident Hugo Tecu after he allegedly drove off the road in the 800 block of West Market Street, crashed through a fence and traveled through the back yard of a residence before coming to a stop in the woods.  Police charged Tecu with a DUI and related traffic violations.

Burglary: On June 17, at approximately 6:50 a.m. police responded to a report of a burglary in progress in the 600 block of Downingtown Pike.  A resident claimed that an estranged boyfriend had broken into her apartment through a bedroom window.  Police located the offender at approximately 7:39 a.m. and placed him under arrested.  The offender also had a Protection from Abuse order taken out on him.

Drug Possession: On June 14, police officers stopped Brandon Kohr for alleged traffic offenses in the 500 block of North High Street.  Police found that Kohr had several active arrest warrants and was allegedly in possession of marijuana.  He was taken into custody without incident.
