Man Falls Asleep in Stranger's Car

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Retail Theft Arrest

On November 30, 2012 at 7:27 PM the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to the Thornbury Township Giant Food Store for a retail theft complaint.  This location is at 1393 Dilworthtown Crossing.

Police arrested Derrick Andre Harris, age 19, from Cheyney, PA and charged him with alleged retail theft and also alleged possession of liquor, or malt or brewed beverage.  Derrick Andre Harris was observed by Loss Prevention walking out of the store with two bottles of liquor and never paid for the items.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest

On December 1, 2012 at 8:18 AM the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department responded to a home in the 1000 block of Hershey’s Mill Road in East Goshen Township for a suspicious male found inside the homeowner’s vehicle.  The homeowner called and reported a person not known to them sitting inside their parked vehicle and when police arrived the same individual was found in the driveway.  Police determined that Todd Stine, age 27, from Coatesville, PA was found to allegedly be intoxicated and wanted on a Chester County Bench Warrant.  Todd Stine was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and then turned over to Constables for transport to the Chester County Prison on the active bench warrant.

DUI Arrest

On December 2, 2012 at 4:51 AM the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department located a 1999 Toyota Solara stopped in the travel lane of westbound West Chester Pike, just west of Reservoir Road in East Goshen Township.  Police found that the male driver was asleep in the driver’s seat with the vehicle engine running and the left front tire down to the steel wheel. 

Police were able to wake the driver, Stephen Addae, age 26 of Coatesville, PA who was determined to allegedly be intoxicated.  After allegedly failing field sobriety tests, Stephen Addae was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or controlled substance.
