Teen Kicks Officer in Chin, West Chester Police Report

Police say the 16-year-old was attempting to enter a private social club when he assaulted the officer.

The following incidents were reported by the West Chester Borough Police Department. Arrest, when mentioned, does not suggest conviction.

Boy Kicks Officer

On March 23 at 2:48 a.m., West Chester Police arrested a 16-year-old male after the department says he was attempting to enter the Star Social Club, located at 212 E. Market St. While he was being taken into custody, police say he resisted and kicked an officer in the chin. The boy was charged with aggravated assault and related crimes and transported to a juvenile detention center.

DUI on Magnolia Street

On March 30 at 2:14 a.m., West Chester Police found a car on the sidewalk and in a row of hedges on the unit block of Magnolia Street. Its driver, a 24-year-old Downingtown man, was determined to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. He was charged with DUI.
