Cooking Class: Octoberfest cooking with beer

Celebrate Okto-beer-fest with an Okto-beer feast of recipes made with beer.

Partnering with West Chester’s Boxcar Brewery you’ll explore delicious flavors of cooking with beer.  In this hands-on class you’ll make -

  • Boxcar Brown Ale fondue
  • Sausage, shrimp & chicken zydeco gumbo
  • Greens tossed with Boxcar Pumpkin Ale vinaigrette and pumpkin seeds
  • Carrots and Brussels Sprouts in Boxcar Mango Ginger Indian Pale Ale beer-blanc
  • Rasp-beery crepes
Recipes are always tailored to the season and include fresh, local ingredients. They may be altered based on ingredient availability.   All recipes will be provided.
