PennDot: Lanes on Route 100 to be Restricted for Surveying
Lanes will be closed August 3-5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that the right lane will be closed on southbound Route 100 between Route 30 and Route 202 in West Goshen Township, Chester County, on Wednesday through Friday (August 3-5) from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for surveying.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area as delays may occur.
The work is part of PennDOT’s $3,953,163 project to construct a sound wall along Route 100 between Phoenixville Pike and Kirkland Avenue. The project will also include drainage improvements and relocation of fiber optic and electrical lines.
Road-Con Inc. of West Chester, is the general contractor on the project which is financed with 100 percent stated funds. The entire project is expected to finish in November 2012.
