More Lane Closures on 202

PennDot will be restricting lane and ramp access next week, again.

It's Friday, so guess what?  PennDot has announced lane and ramp restrictions for Route 202 next week.

This time the restrictions apply to all of 202 between High Street and the Route 100 interchange. 

As always, PennDot advises motorists to allow extra travel time when using 202 during construction hours.

Here is the restriction schedule as provided by PennDot via press release:

"On Monday through Saturday (May 2-7) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Route 202’s northbound and southbound right shoulder will be restricted from High Street to Route 100 for the installation of conduit for Intelligent Transportation System components.

On Tuesday through Thursday (May 3-5) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., southbound Route 202 will be reduced to one lane between the Route 100 and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) interchanges for saw cutting the concrete pavement.

From 8 p.m. Friday, May 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 8, southbound Route 202 will be reduced to one lane between the Route 100 and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) interchanges for concrete pavement removal and replacement.

From 8 p.m. Friday, May 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 8, the Paoli Pike on-ramp to Route 202 North will be closed and detoured for shoulder reconstruction. The posted detour will take Paoli Pike traffic south on Route 202 to the Route 3 (West Chester Pike) Interchange, where drivers will then access the on-ramp to Route 202 North."
