Man Reported Drunken at Dunkin', Police Say

West Chester police stop a driver who officials say had his license suspended for DUI.

 

A 27-year-old man from Guatemala a is facing DUI and other charges after West Chester police were called to a Dunkin' Donuts on Downingtown Pike in East Bradford Township.

According to police, a 9-1-1 caller reported an intoxicated man inside the Dunkin' Donuts on Saturday morning at 6:36 a.m.. When police arrived the caller told officers the man had driven to the store in a black Ford Explorer SUV. According to police, officers "located the Ford turning onto Downingtown Pike from Miles Road.  The vehicle was stopped for traffic offenses."

Police say the driver was "found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was driving while suspended for DUI."

The man was taken into custody and held for arraignment.
