Goshen Country Fair Kicks Off

The Goshen Country Fair got underway Monday.

Every summer since 1949, the Goshen Fire Company has hosted the Goshen Country Fair complete with rides, games and contests for the whole family.

This year is no different.

Starting August 1, and running until Saturday, the fair raises money for the Goshen Fire Company that serves bot West and East Goshen Townships.

The fair also includes livestock contests where judges choose "the best of" many animals including cows, goats and rabbits.

The fair opens every evening at 6 p.m. except Saturday when the gates open at 5 p.m.  Thursday is also wrist band night where fair-goers can pay $25 up front and go on as many rides as they want.
