It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend.  But this should be your time.  Time, to kick-back, relax and enjoy two days of sweet, sweet freedom.

Where/When: Downtown West Chester, Friday, May 6 all day

Why Go: Stores are open late, often with refreshments and special sales, on the first Friday of each month during March through December.

Where/When: 1580 Paoli Pike, West Chester, Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: The Spring Community Yard Sale will take place at the East Goshen Township Building, at 1580 Paoli Pike, West Chester and also in resident's individual driveways. Pick up a map of participating residents at the Twp Bldg starting Friday, May 6th. The Township Building will also be host to residents sellers who live in gated communities-you must register in advance. There's will be lot's of treasure on display- go get a bargain!

Where/When: The corner of Church and Chestnut downtown, Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: The West Chester Growers Market is open each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May through November. Local farmers, crafters and bakers present specialty food items and produce, and musicians are often on hand to provide a fun, fair-like atmosphere. Many weeks include special activities for children, like ice cream giveaways or games.
