Clean Sweep for Chesco Republicans

Commissioners will remain the same; Hogan is new DA

Chester County Republicans had a big night with a sweep of county row offices while keeping the majority on the board of commissioners during Tuesday’s elections.

With 99 percent of the vote counted, Republican Terence Farrell was re-elected to a four-year term on the Chester County Board of Commissioners while fellow Republican Ryan Costello was also elected to a four-year term.

Costello will return to the board after being appointed on Feb. 17 to serve the final 10 months of the four-year commissioner term left vacant by Carol Aichele.
