Stadium Grill: Local Favorite Serves up Charity Event

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to benefit from fundraiser.

On Wednesday, March 23, the will be hosting Burgers and Fries for LLS to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. A long time favorite of both the corporate lunch crowd and family-friendly supper seekers, the Stadium Grille has something for everyone.

Stadium Grille was founded in 1990 and has been a hit ever since. Bob Bentley, inspired by nostalgic days of grilling with his father, started the franchise with a focus on family dining. Each booth has its own television set, a welcome distraction for little ones while waiting for your order. The grille is also BYOB, meaning you and your buddies can cheer and have a cold one during your favorite sporting event at a lower cost than any sports bar.

Setting them apart from other grilles, the menu at Stadium Grille is diverse and every item is a hit. Here, you can not only get a classic burger of the beef variety, but ostrich, bison, turkey, or veggie as well. The Pulled Pork sandwiches are a favorite, and the “fixins” bar is second to none. Their fries, which are not the wimpy, shoestring, grease-soaked fries you’ll find in other establishments, are perfectly prepared, just add ketchup. Sprinkle on a little Ranch seasoning or Old Bay and enjoy something different with your Ostrich Burger.

For today’s fundraising event, patrons must say the magic words upon ordering: “I’m with Berry and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society”. The Grille will then donate 15 percent of your total bill to Berry Woodrow McLaughlin’s campaign for the LLS (read more ) , with the Society providing a 10% match on top of that. Hey, we all need to eat anyway, right? Why not chow down on the area’s Best Burgers at the Best Family Restaurant  (Daily Local News & Main Line Today Magazine) for a great cause?
