1. Valentine's Dance Party and Social

Where/When: Penn Oaks Golf Cub, Feb. 11, 8p.m.-midnight

Why Go: DJ Dan provides the music for the Professional and Business Singles Network's Valentine's Dance Party and Social. Dress to impress - no jeans or sneakers! No reservations are necessary - singles and couples are welcome.

Cost: $12 members, $15 non-members

2. Polar Plunge

Where/When: Brandywine Picnic Park, Feb. 12, 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Take the "Polar Plunge" into the Brandywine's icy February waters with the Brandywine Valley Association! Registration begins at 10:00am, Polar Plunge is at 11:30am.  All proceeds benefit charity.

Cost: $35 to swim, $25 for students.

3. Tea and Parlor Games

Where/When: The Lincoln Room, Feb. 12, 3 p.m.

Why Go: Celebrate the 15oth Anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's election with Tea and Parlor Games at The Lincoln Room. Tickets and reservations are required.

Cost: $15

4. Benefit Concert

Where/When: The Note, Feb. 13, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Note hosts the Love 146 Benefit Concert with Score 24, Exit4 and Just Kait. Doors open at 6:30pm for this all ages show.

Cost: $20
