Hitting the Practice Field Before Hitting the Books
Summer vacation comes to an end as student athletes return to get ready for the upcoming season.
Monday marked the official beginning of the fall athletic season for many Varsity and J.V. interscholastic sports teams.
Monday was the first day of PIAA-sanctioned practices for for Golf, Girls' Tennis, Cross Country, Girls' Volleyball and Water Polo, Field Hockey, Boys ad Girls Soccer and Football.
The Vikings football and girls soccer teams took the fields at West Chester East Monday evening to take advantage of cooler twilight temperatures.
Fall classes in the West Chester Area School District begin on September 3rd, the day after Labor Day.
