Henderson Football is Going to the Mattresses This Weekend
It's a win-win for the Warriors and their supporters.
If you need a new mattress this might be the weekend to go shopping.
West Chester's Henderson High School Football boosters organization is holding a mattress sale on Sunday to raise money for the team.
According to signs posted around the school's campus and the team website, the sale will run from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the Henderson High School.
A posting for the event on Facebook says "The Mattress Sale is coming back to Henderson! Coach Mitten picked a date for this year's fundraiser...Sunday, August 18th! More details to follow, but if you or someone you know needs a new mattress in the next few months, please consider waiting for the fundraiser."
Practice for the Henderson Warriors and all other PIAA High School Varsity and JV Sports began on Monday. The team's first pre-season scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday morning at 10 against Phoenixville High School.
