ReplyAs fascinating as the tittle tattle local gossip of anonymous bloggers may be, the much bigger issue is the one I made at 21:30 mins into this show. We don't need to merely end teacher strikes, we also need to end all teacher Unions, and send their leaders to Cuba. Logic and reason ...

Once again you demonstrate a lack of understanding about the law and how things work. In most school districts around PA the typical teacher has no idea about their rights. So they go to the Union and say "I'd like to resign" whereupon the Union Rep says "you can't" and cites to the Maintenance-of-Membership provision. That teacher then typically accepts the answer and the Board/Administration don't even know the resignation request was made. You presume Boards/Administrations routinely receive resignation requests. They might do on occasion, if a teacher is savvy and knows his/her rights, but alas most do not. The Union likes to keep it that way.

Maybe she got demoted by RINOs for having the temerity to be a Republican. The amusing thing is you thinking she believes her authority to be correct comes from a committee title. You live in a small world.

Reply1979. [23 min audio]. Conservative Party opposition leader Margaret Thatcher addresses parliament on the state of a nation crippled by Union strikes; four months later becoming Britain's first female Prime Minister. They don't make 'em like this anymore ...

ReplyName calling yet again. How appalling and predictable. You cannot defend the coercion of forced Unionism ...which is everyone's business because it violates the very idea of liberty upon which this nation was founded. It is your cause of electing far-left extremists to the school board who support strikes against children & taxpayers, and forced Union dues for employees that is hogwash.

As President of StopTeacherStrikes I responded to a teacher Union member who referenced the Vice President of StopTeacherStrikes, who most likely was asleep at the time. Not that she needs me to deal with radical Unionists in WCASD. A RINO is a well-known expression that you'll have to look up. I have disdain for all elected officials who vote to approve the nightmare horror of compulsory Unionism in our schools. It is sinful, shameful, tyannical and un-American. No non-Union employee should ever be forced to pay a Union as condition of their employment.

ReplyWhat is wrong with you radical liberals? Suggesting that each individual employee be allowed to freely choose whether or not he or she wishes to financially support the Union is a matter of individual liberty, personal choice, and freedom of association. Forcing non-Union support staff employees to pay Union dues to keep their jobs is revolting. You radical Union types clearly hate the Constitution. Shame on those eight Board Directors who violated their oath of office by supporting this tyranny. Donna Pasquini Glavin, you need to step down from being an American citizen and move to Cuba. RoxyD, your support for forced Unionism adds no value to the First Amendment. Maybe I'll raid your paycheck to collect some forced dues to go to me since I've decided that I benefit you ...just to see how you like it.

The only reason Board directors attend negotiations because they lack a spinal cord to reject such Union demands, and/or because they think they're smart when they're not. If the Union bosses made that demand officially then the Board should file an unfair labor charge against them because neither side can tell the other who must be in the room. Meanwhile the money spent educating the public as to the Union's greed is money well-spent because public opinion causes greedy Union bosses to lower their demands. Any Unionist who doesn't like their taxpayer-funded compensation should seek alternative employment. It is tax dollars funding this shocking entitlement attitude.

Suggesting parents keep their children away from Mrs. Adsett's children and calling her unstable is twisted. And there is only one Republican on the school board. The others are RINOs because they vote for compulsory Unionism. Good night.

I said send them not deport them. Although you do raise a valid point i.e. we probably should find out who the illegal alien Union bosses are so we can deport them.
