Dear Bretany, Thank you so much for posting events for Middletown Free Library! It is really appreciated, but we sometimes have to cancel events or have online registration and need to be able to edit the event listings. Is there any way that I would be able to edit your postings since it can get confusing for Middletown Free Library patrons?
Thanks for your time and consideration!

Hi Erica -
Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I'm the calendar editor for the greater Philadelphia Patch region. I can definitely add pictures - not a problem. If you see something without a picture you are welcome to add on as well. The option is open to all.
What events are over or discontinued? I'm happy to delete and update events.
Thanks!

Hi Bretany,
I'm the new Events/Outreach Coordinator at Big Blue Marble Bookstore. I see you've added events for us and I'd love them to go up with photos in the future, because I think it makes the listing more visually appealing. What's the best way to make sure that happens? Can I edit what you've already done?
Also, there are some calendar events listed that have been changed or are no longer taking place. I didn't create them so I don't think I can delete them. Should I talk to you about fixing that?
Thanks,
Erica David

Hey Clara - Thank you so much for letting me know about Cole. I'm so sick of cancer taking children away. Just yesterday Jessica Joy Rees was taken from us too soon. My niece Gabby looked just like Cole.....so big in the face because of steroids before she passed away. I'm sitting here in tears and anger. I'm so angry. I'm so scared. My kids are scared. They think they might get what Gabby had. I'm scared they will too. I'm going to post about Cole on Get Well Gabby's facebook page. We'll get him lots of cards. Thanks........and I love your articles too. ;)

Hi Bretany,
I enjoy reading your posts and thank you for your feedback on my restaurant reviews! A friend posted this on facebook and it made me cry. As a mother and a community activist I thought you would be interested. I already wrote up my birthday card and will throw it in the mail today.

Hi Bretany, Thanks for posting the Coaches Vs. Cancer BBall Tournament at Sacred Heart School, Manoa. However, there is a small admission fee, with all proceeds being donated to the cause. Adults are $2.00, kids are $1.00, and a family max is $6.00. This is a once a day fee/donation. Thanks again! Kelly Wick

Hi Doug -
I'm the Calendar Editor for the MN Patch and I am always looking for local events. I'm happy to add the information - and I believe you can add photos or videos at the bottom of the paragraph of information. If you are having difficulties adding photos - you can email them to me at bwpilko@verizon.net.
Thanks!

Hi Bretany; thanks for posting our Sunday openings at the Square Tavern. I would love to add to the listing "We're free and air conditioned! Children welcome." I am not sure if you can release to me (on behalf of the Historical Society) the editing rights to the event - I'd like to post up some photos with it too. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Doug Humes for the Newtown Square Historical Society.

Most working moms I know hit the Little Gym, Gymboree, and swim lessons during evening hours or on the weekend. I highly recommend Little Gym in Newtown Square - I took my babies there back in the day. You want to call early - because I know evening & weekend classes fill up fast.
Getting a baby in the pool early in life is also invaluable. I had my first son in a parent/tot class at the Rocky Run YMCA when he was a baby. He is 7 now and a great swimmer. My other son - I never put in lessons because I got too busy etc....and he is almost 5 and somewhat terrified of the pool. I waited too long - so now he and I go and swim together - because he won't do it without me.
Tomorrow we have our swimming lesson question for Moms Talk - this should help you find a program. (but I can vouch for the YMCA - great baby program - you can choose from UMLY in Berwyn right off of 252, or Rocky Run - we were members at both.

I'm looking for fun, educational activities for my 10-month old. Any suggestions for working moms other than activities held on the weekdays?
