Iron Hill Hosts March Madness Beer Tourney

Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant will host its own March Madness tournament, pitting casks of beer from all nine locations against each other to determine this year’s champion.

Guests can participate by visiting specified Iron Hill locations during the various rounds, drink the featured beers and decide which location will move closer to becoming the Firkin’ March Madness winner by helping finish their favorite firkin. Iron Hill Voted Best Family-Friendly Restaurant

With 28 percent of the vote, Iron Hill wins a tight race over the West Chester Diner and Pepper Mill.

On Monday, we asked West Chester Patch readers to vote on their favorite family-friendly restaurant in the West Chester area. When the polls closed Friday morning, Iron Hill emerged as the top vote-getter. Iron Hill earned 28 percent of the votes with the West Chester Diner coming in second with 20 percent of the vote and Pepper Mill Thanks to everyone who voted!

Seventh Annual Twilight Criterium will be Held Saturday Night

The annual bike race through downtown West Chester starts Saturday at 7 p.m.

Downtown West Chester and Iron Hill Brewery will host the seventh annual Twilight Criterium Race tomorrow night.  The annual race features professional riders from around the country and the world as they zip around downtown West Chester at speeds of upwards of 35 miles per hour. A "criterium" is a bike race held on a short course usually five kilometers long on the streets in the center of a city. The winner can either be determined by completing the most laps in an alotted amount of time, or the opposite, completing an allotted amount of laps in the shortest time. Saturday night's race is the final race in the first-half of the men's Pro Criterium racing circuit, with the rest of the circuit being completed at the finals in September. …
