The West Chester Police Department says a total of 30 people were arrested in the Borough as a result of West Chester's ongoing "Operation Vigilance" program. Police Chief Scott Bohn says the arrests break down by the following offenses:

West Chester police stop a driver who officials say had his license suspended for DUI.
A 27-year-old man from Guatemala a is facing DUI and other charges after West Chester police were called to a Dunkin' Donuts on Downingtown Pike in East Bradford Township. According to police, a 9-1-1 caller reported an intoxicated man inside the Dunkin' Donuts on Saturday morning at 6:36 a.m.. When police arrived the caller told officers the man had driven to the store in a black Ford Explorer SUV. According to police, officers "located the Ford turning onto Downingtown Pike from Miles Road. The vehicle was stopped for traffic offenses." Police say the driver was "found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was driving while suspended for DUI." The man was taken into custody and held for arraignment.

The investigation into the weekend party that spilled out into a West Chester street is still ongoing.
West Chester's Police Chief said he expects "at least one" more arrest in the case of a party crowd that got out of control on South Walnut Street early Saturday afternoon. Chief Scott Bohn said he expected at least one arrest will be made and it "will be someone who was responsible" for flipping a private car on its side in the 400 block of South Walnut Street. West Chester Police broke up a party Saturday attended by a crowd reportedly numbering as many as 500. Party-goers had reportedly paid $15 each to attend the party in a private house near the West Chester University campus. A car being flipped near the West Chester Campus is caught on video as police break up a huge beer party.
Video posted on Facebook shows what happened early Saturday afternoon when a private car was flipped over by a large crowd of young adults in the 400 block of South Walnut Street in West Chester near the West Chester University campus. According to a report on the Daily Local website, the party in the 400 block of South Walnut Street spilled out on to the street early Saturday afternoon after police dispersed the party following complaints from neighbors. Man Theatens to Shoot Dog Walker, Dog A 42-year-old West Chester man was arrested on Thursday after police say he threatened to shoot a man and his dog.
