There will be several Easter egg hunts in the area over the weekend.
Last weekend a few of the local Easter Egg hunts got rained out. Here's some bunny-friendly activities going on this weekend in case you missed out last week because of the weather. With Summer coming (eventually, I promise) here's a look at local summer camps
Like every kid, I always looked forward to summer growing up. Not just because there wasn't any school (that helped), but also because summer was a time to do things. Vacations, the beach, museums, all of these things awaited in the glorious months of June, July and August. However, I think the one thing I probably looked forawrd to the most was summer camp. I was in the Boy Scouts from ages 11-14, and nothing was better than summer camp. It was a week of swiming, horse back riding and card playing. (We played a lot of spades.) For this week's Patch Picks I am going to do something a little different. Usually, this is a list of local stores that can help with a timely task. In the past, I've done things like "Best Places to Watch the Super Bowl" and "Best Places to Buy Flowers for Valentine's."
