Dr. William “Bill” H. Simon, D.O., 63, was called home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2012. Dr. Simon was born in Philadelphia, PA and was a resident of Springfield, Delaware County. He graduated from Springfield High School in 1967. He received his B.S. in Secondary Education from Cheyney University in 1972. He graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1980. He earned his D.O. from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in 1996. He thencompleted his residency in Internal Medicine in 1999 through the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My husband and I were both patients of Dr. Simon and we wanted to send our thoughts and prayers to his family. We are so saddened by his passing. The time and care he took with us and the help he provided were immensely appreciated and made such a difference in our lives.
