WC East Academic Team Advances to County Final
The brainy Vikings topped Phoenixville and neighbor Rustin for the right to move on.
West Chester East will be among the three teams competing for the Chester County Academic Competition championship, the Chesco Intermediate Unit announced. The championship will take place at the Technical College High School Brandywine Campus in Downingtown on March 14 starting at 7 p.m. The winner will represent Chester County at the state competition. East will be joined in the Chesco final by the Conestoga and Unionville academic teams. Three junior varsity teams will also advance to the championship: Downingtown East, Conestoga and West Chester East.
