I can't imagine how much or how little an auto service proprietor likes to see a fifteen year old, idle for two years, motor home being dragged in to his business by a tow truck, but it happened to Joe Torchiana one Wednesday a few weeks ago. I asked Joe to "make it roadworthy, I'm leaving for Florida in it in four days". Joe must have thought there has to be an easier way to make a living. Give me a tune-up, a brake job...anything but a motor home-in-a-basket.
Joe proceded to go at it methodically, one item at a time. Diagnose and fix, step by step until, voila. My motor home was ready for the road. One trip around the block as a road trial (he had all ready done that), then off to Florida. 1150 miles later I was at my destination flawlessly and safely. Joe, Steve and Sue had done an exceptional job at bringing back to life what had been a well used and appreciated motor home.
