Four Dogs Tavern was originally the stables to the Marshallton Inn, along the road commonly traveled from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh.  In 1978, it was converted into the restaurant The Oyster Bar and in 1996 it became Four Dogs Tavern. The restaurant has great food, a nice atmosphere and a historic structure. They serve dishes like pasta, chicken, lobster and seafood, appetizers and snacks. They also have draft and bottled beer and wines.
