Here's a look at what's happening this week in West Chester:

A New School Board: You may remember that four new members of the West Chester School Board were voted into office in November. Those new members will start their tenure Monday. The school board is holding its reorganizational meeting at 7 p.m. on Dec 2.

Keystone Exams Kick Off: If you've got a student in the West Chester School District, be aware that they've got a week ahead of them. Area students are undergoing the Keystone exams this week. The exam, according to the state's education website, is designed to "assess proficiency … in Algebra, Geometry, Literature, English Composition, Biology, Chemistry, U.S. and World History and Civics…"

Barclay Woods Hearing: The future of the Barclay Woods in West Chester starts Wednesday with a hearing about the future of the property. The meeting will be held in borough hall at 6 p.m. on Dec 4.
