I want to share how hard work really does pay off. One of my clients had been a little discouraged because she felt the scale was not moving enough even though her clothes were fitting better and she was feeling healthier and stronger. We just re-measured and she lost 11 1/2 total inches and 8 pounds, that is fantastic - And the best part is she called to tell me that she put on a pair of shorts that did not fit and now they are too big! Remember when you begin an exercise program, 1 pound of fat and 1 pound of muscle weigh the same, but the pound of muscle takes up less room, that is why my client lost so many inches but was frustrated with the scale! One of the things I have been incorporating into her strength training workouts are mini circuits! They are challenging but really worth it!
