Henderson-Downingtown East Rematch Slated for Friday
The two teams will square off again this Friday in the first round of the District 1 playoffs.
After clinching the National Division of the Ches-Mont league with a second half surge against Downingtown East last Friday, the West Chester Henderson Warriors will face the Cougars again this Friday at home in the first round of the District 1 playoffs.
Henderson's cross-town rival, West Chester Rustin, will also face North Penn in the first round after the Golden Knights made an undefeated run to clinch the American division of the Ches-Mont League.
Besides Downingtown East, Henderson and Rustin, Coatesville and Unionville also qualified out of the Ches-Mont league to make the first round of district playoffs.
