Lock Haven falls to 0-7 overall and 0-6 in conference play while West Chester improves to 6-4 and 3-3 with the win.

The Bald Eagles trailed by 12 at the break (46-34) and by as many as 18 points in the second, but Lock Haven continued to press.

In the end West Chester proved too strong thanks to four players in double figures in the scoring column. McDowell led the way for West Chester with a game-high 19 points. McDowell was 8-for-14 from the field and also grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

A huge key for the Golden Rams was their 30-for-36 outing at the free-throw stripe. A huge spark in WCU’s 83 percent night at the charity stripe was Breeden’s 13-for-13 outing. He finished with 15 points and a game-high six assists.
