SHE EXPLORES™ - Perkiomen Trail - Women's Bike Meet-up
We will meet at 11:00 am at the Pawlings Road Trailhead. We will ride the Perkiomen trail toward Collegeville and back. Mountain bikes or hybrid bikes are best for this trail (partially paved). Mileage will be determined by participation and group experience level. Please prepare your bike by bringing spare tube and tools if you have them (carry them with you during the ride). This is a no drop ride, no rider will be left behind.
Bring water and snacks. Please wear a helmet. See you at the trailhead!
Pawlings Road Trailhead is situated overlooking Route 422 and accessed via Pawlings Road only. The trailhead provides local residents and visitors easy parking and access to three separate trail systems, the Schuylkill River Trail, the Perkiomen Trail and the Audubon Loop Trail. Parking for approximately 80 vehicles is available at this location. There is a short section with steep grade connecting the parking lot to the trail.

SHE EXPLORES™ was created by and for women who love being active in nature. We plan energizing outdoor activities in Chester County and surrounding areas for women of all ages and levels of experience.
Our goal is to offer women opportunities to explore and learn new things about themselves through experiences they have always wanted to engage in but may have been hesitant about or hindered from. SHE EXPLORES™ brings women together to learn from and empower each other.
We specialize in planning: backpacking, camping, canoeing and kayaking trips; community-service activities; day hikes; meditation; mother/child outings; mountain biking and road biking outings; nature education trips; photography outings; and so much more!
SHE EXPLORES™ plans to expand our array of outdoor experiences as the group grows, including trips beyond the local area. We also welcome activity ideas from group members and will plan outings together with you as desired.
The possibilities for fun, exhilaration, and growth are endless!
