LEARN Family Fun Day
All Chester County families are invited to join the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU), LEARN, and the Please Touch Museum at the LEARN Family Fun Day. The event is a special opportunity being offered to families in Chester County through the CCIU LEARN grant.
The morning will include activities such as the Mobile Please Touch Museum, a free book for each registered family, a light continental breakfast, and a resource fair which will provide information and connections for parents to help enhance their children’s lives.
The LEARN initiative supports families with children in early education as well as the community-at-large, including businesses and legislators, in developing an awareness of early care and education for the following programs: The Keystone STARs Program, Child Care, PA Pre-K Counts, Preschool Special Education, and the Nurse Family Partnership. The goal is to help children, providers, and families prepare for kindergarten.
Though the event is free, registration is greatly appreciated. Please contact Jenise Lemon at JeniseL@cciu.org or 484-237-5403 to register.
