Other highlights:

  • The Board of Supervisors voted to eliminate the Westtown Thornbury Elementary school from the township's sewer system.  This will save the school district money and put its sewer output in the juristiction of Westtown Township.
  • A 4,040 square foot expansion of the Fame Fire Company of West Chester was approved.  The expansion will primarily house equipment.
  • West Goshen also voted to allow East Goshen to divert some of its sewage currently being prosessed by the township to East Goshen's own facility.  This change will not cost the township any money because East Goshen will pay at least a minimum fee for other locations that still use the West Goshen sewer system.
