Not Many Surprises in this Election's Results
Unofficial results are in for the 2011 primary election.
Election night is over, and here are the results.
West Chester Borough Council
On the Republican side, Scott Brion ran in the second ward and Kerry Acker ran in the sixth. Brion is running for the seat currently held by Cassandra Jones, and Acker will be going after the seat previously held by Jim Jones.

For the Democrats, Cassandra Jones ran in the second ward, and Jordan Norley ran in the fourth. Susan Bayne previously held the fourth ward seat, and she is now running for County Commissioner.
The only contested race in the primary was on the Democratic side in the sixth ward. Stephen Shinn defeated Jane Dorchester, 66-43.

East Goshen Township Board of Supervisors
There are no Democrats running for the board of supervisors in East Goshen, but three Republicans ran for two spots.
Chuck Proctor was the top vote getter with 951 votes, followed by Senya Isayeff with 816 and Donald McConathy with 332.
West Chester School Board
Seven people are running for five spots in the school board primary:
On the Republican side Karen Miller is in the lead followed in order by Vincent Murphy, Maureen Snook, Linda Railenu, Galen Plona and Ted Diehl.
On the Democrat side Wayne Burton leads followed in order by Miller, Snook, Diehl, Railenu, Murphy and Plona.
West Goshen
On the Republican side, Jacob Bowman, Theodore Murphy and Raymond Halvorsen all ran unopposed, and so did Geoff Wilkinson as the only Democrat.
