West Chester Borough Council will meet on Tuesday at 7 p.m. for the monthly work session meeting.

West Chester Borough Council meets this week, and the agenda is brimming with items.  Let's take a look at some of them.

Borough Council will consider a measure that would allow residents to rent 25 spaces in lot 10 for a fee of $50 per month.  Lot 10 is located at 50 West Chestnut Street, between Church and High Streets.

Firearms

Borough Council will also consider lifting the ban on the possession of firearms in the borough's parks.  Apparently, it is against state law to prohibit residents from carrying guns inside the borough's parks.

Movie

Director Ryan Beacher wants to film part of his independent film in the borough.  He is requesting that the borough close Mechanics Alley near the Ramsgate apartments on June 25 at noon and Washington Street between Church and Darlington on July 3 starting at 9 p.m.
