Borough Receives Commendation for RAMP Program

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board sent a letter to the borough honoring participation in the Responsible Alcohol Management Program.

Carolyn Comitta received a letter from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board commending her an the borough for their participation in the state's Responsible Alcohol Management Program.

The program designed by the state teaches alcohol retailers how to responsibly serve including how to spot fake identification and how to avoid selling to those who are visibly intoxicated.

In an e-mail sent to borough residents Mayor Comitta wrote:

We are very proud of this Campus Community Coalition initiative and want to thank everyone on our "RAMP" team for their commitment and persistence in moving toward our goal of 100%!!  We also thank Pam Warfield and West Chester Communities That Care for their financial support of RAMP training for WC alcohol servers.
