We had a fantastic Fall Community Conversation last Thursday evening at the Chester County Historical Society! If you were able to be there, thank you. If not, we missed you!
There were approximately 100 in attendance, which was great given the nor’easter blowing through town that evening. We thank CCHS President Rob Lukens and event director, Tara Thistlethwaite, for graciously offering the wonderful space of the Cultural Center and for Tara’s help with set up and technology.
We also want to thank the team from “Capacity for Change”, Meghan, Jason, Jack and Colin, for doing another fantastic job facilitating our “conversation” using their famous “world café” model. They get a lot of lively conversation going very quickly. Many thanks to Capacity for Change for again donating your expertise to cultivate a fantastic community conversation.
Many thanks to interns to the Mayor, WCU senior Allyssa Strasser, and Rustin High School senior, Savannah Dysard who are busy transcribing all the great ideas that were generated and written and drawn on the “tablecloths”. As soon as we have organized the list, we will send it out to all!
Thanks again for sharing your time, energy and vision for West Chester’s future. Our people are our most valuable resource.
