West Chester's Operation Vigilance Snares 15 Accused Offenders

West Chester Borough's ongoing effort to crack down on nuisance crimes has resulted in 15 reported arrests for the week that ended Sunday.

According to West Chester Police the arrests and charges break down this way:

            Under Age Drinking    3

            Public Drunkenness    5

            Public Indecency        3

            Disorderly Conduct     2

            Trespass                   2

            Open Container          1

            Littering                     1

            Drug Offenses             1            

West Chester Police update the numbers every week. In most cases the accused offenders are issued citations and must appear in court to answer the charges and if found guilty pay a fine.
