West Chester Student Falls to Death in Philadelphia

Ali Fausnaught, 19, fell from a rooftop at a Temple University party on Wednesday.

A 19-year-old West Chester University student fell to her death on Wednesday night, The Main Line Media News is reporting.

According to the paper, Ali Fausnaught was at a rooftop party at Temple University when she fell from the three-story building and landed in an alley approximately 40 feet below. Fausnaught was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No fewer than eight fellow party-goers were taken into custody and interviewed about the incident, but the paper is reporting that the fall appears to have been an accident.

Fausnaught was a psychology major who transferred to WCU from the University of South Carolina.
