West Chester Police Blotter: Man Breaks into Bank through the Front Door

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Breaking and Entering: West Chester police arrested Kevin Steinberger on October 16, at 2:02 a.m. after he allegedly damaged the front door and forced entry into the Sovereign Bank branch located at 50 West Market Street.  Steinberger was taken into custody and held on $7,500 bail.

DUI: Police arrested Scott Finney, 28, of Glenside on October 19, at 1:58 a.m., after authorities allegedly observed him running a red light.

Fleeing the Scene: Police arrested Emily Artinian of Wilmington, Delaware on October 15, for allegedly hitting an unattended vehicle and leaving the scene without providing her information or contacting authorities.  According to police, Artinian struck a parked car in the rear parking lot of Amore’s Pizza.  At that time the suspect left the scene and witnesses provided a description of the vehicle and a partial license plate number.  Police pulled over the vehicle in the 600 block of South High Street.  Police allege that Artinian smelled of alcohol and failed three of the four field sobriety tests.  It was at this time that the suspect was taken under arrest.  Police then escorted Artinian to Chester County Hospital for blood tests.
