WEGO Police Negotiations at a Standstill

The Daily Local reports that both sides remain far apart after a weekend negotiation session.

According to the Daily Local, the Westtown-East Goshen Police Association and the Board of Supervisors for both East Goshen and Westtown Township remain deadlocked as the two sides try to negotiate a new police contract.

According to the Daily Local:

Talks between the Westtown-East Goshen Police Association, the bargaining body of the department’s officers, and township officials from both East Goshen and Westtown broke down last weekend as both parties submitted contract proposals that could serve as the basis of a new five-year contract. It appears the two sides remain far from a common ground that could lead to a deal.
